Carpet & Rug Cleaning
Our 9- Step Process To The Cleanest, Healthiest Carpet:
1. HIGH-FILTRATION VACUUM. First we vacuum with a high filtration cleaning system specifically designed for deep down soil removal.
2. MOVE LARGE FURNISHINGS. We will move larger furnishings – such as chairs and tables – but for insurance reasons we ask you to move smaller valuable items such as ornaments before we arrive.
3. PRE-SPOT DIFFICULT STAINS. We will pre-spot your carpet for all difficult stains. We will carry out specialist stain removal techniques on stains, which are of particular concern to you.
4. ECO-FRIENDLY PRE-SPRAY. Next we will apply an Eco-Friendly pre-spray specially designed to electro-mechanically lift oily dirt and pollutants from your carpet fibres and suspend them floating in an aqueous solution ready to be quickly and safely extracted using our state-of-the-art extraction machines.
5. HOT WATER EXTRACTION MACHINE. We use a van mounted, high-pressure hot water extraction unit which runs on LPG Gas … this means we cleans much better because it heats water to a high temperature and then shoots the cleaning solution into the carpet at high pressure. This helps to break up the dirt, bacteria and pollens in the carpet. The machine then produces a huge vacuum volume to draw the dirt and chemicals out of your carpet.
6. RESIDUE RINSE. We use the extraction machine to ensure a residue free rinse that ensures the integrity of your carpet and helps to retard re-soiling
7. PROTECTIVE FOIL TABS. Furniture is replaced back onto the carpet with protective foil tabs and Styrofoam blocks under the legs. Why? Well sometimes the moisture left in the carpet will leach out any colour-stain finish from the furniture leaving a (very difficult to remove) carpet stain.
8. GROOMING. Where, appropriate we will groom your carpet to leave it in best possible condition. This usually means we run a grooming rake over the carpet to ensure the fibres are tangle-free and ‘fluffy’ as possible.
9. RAPID-DRY™. Finally, we’ll use special carpet dryers to rapidly dry your carpets so you use them much quicker than normal.

We love rugs. Our main goal is to do what is best and safest for your favourite rug, and we do not used harsh chemicals, bleaching agents or other hazardous material on your textiles.

PRE-WASH INSPECTION: Each rug is inspected for any pre-existing conditions. Many times, soil covers up dye lot variations (abrash), fibre staining, prior dye bleeding, worn areas or white knots that become "uncovered" after the wash. Some of these are weaving characteristics (abrash and white knots), and others are damage that can possibly be repaired or reversed.
CLEANING: The rug is cleaned in your home on a protective sheet. Using our high powered Truck Mounted cleaning system. You will see enhanced colours and a nice soft feel to the rug.
PROTECTOR: After the rug has been cleaned we can move on to applying the protector. This barrier coats each fibre to protect against re-soiling and staining. This allows you to simply mop up spillages as it prevents the fibre absorbing spills.
